Hull Profile Description
Inspired by over 25 years of river guiding, the Kingfisher Skiff features a high-bow and pronounced rocker profile (6" Bow / 8" Stern) designed to ride high through standing wave trains while keeping front anglers high and dry. Its shallow-draft hull (3"–5" draft) glides easily over skinny water, riffles, and shoals. The wide beam and flat bottom center section provide an ultra-stable platform for anglers standing, leaning, or casting in heavy water.

The Kingfisher Skiff is Blue Ridge Boatworks’ flagship polymer drift skiff. Built with an open, walk-around cockpit layout, this model emphasizes ergonomics, simple line-free interiors, and maximum storage versatility. Built to navigate technical trout waters and warmwater rivers alike, it combines lightweight agility with bomber durability.
Overview
Hull Material: Extrusion-welded High-Density Polyethylene (VHMWPE / HDPE). Hand-welded on CNC-routed components to deliver superior impact resistance, low friction over rocks, and high abrasion/UV resistance.
Structure & Hardware: Flat rigid interior deck paired with non-slip rubber matting for secure footing. Complete with stainless steel latches and corrosion-resistant hardware designed for maintenance-free long service life.
