We’ve been getting a steady trickle of calls asking the same thing: “Can I list an outboard motor here?” Enough that we’re seriously considering giving motors their own dedicated category.
That makes sense. Outboards are core to a lot of small boats, yet there isn’t a dedicated, trustworthy place to buy and sell them. Most end up buried in generic marketplaces where good motors get lost in the noise. Small Craft Sales was built to serve small-boat people properly, and outboards are a logical next step. For now, we’re testing the waters with a few motors from friends and trusted folks in the community. This week, that ranges from a barely-used 2025 Mercury Verado 300XL DTS from our friend Conway Bowman in San Diego to a fleet of well-traveled—but still very capable—30hp Tohatsu four-strokes from Western River Expeditions that earned their keep in the Grand Canyon.
