Boat is a Mike Baker kit. I built it between Jun and Sept 2015.
The bottom is a combination 1/4" plywood and 1/2" polypropolyn honeycomb that is fiberglassed. Makes it strong and light.
The outside of the boat has 4 coats of epoxy and is covered with 3 coats of varnish. The inside is oiled with teak oil (too many nooks and crannies for varnish. Chines and gunnels are oak, ribs are port orford cedar. I usually fish it 3 weeks each year. Its been on the Bighorn, Missouri, Yellowstone, Madison, Snake, Henry's Fork, Deschutes, Green and Sacramento Rivers. Boat is roomy, but rows well and is agile. You'll enjoy it.
