This 2023 Sponge Docks Skiff is a great design from Bedard Yacht Design meticulously finished at Denver Custom Boatworks. She was started a few years ago by a talented home builder before being donated to the Rocky Mountain Wooden Boat School to be completed. All proceeds of the sale will return the school to grow and educate the next generation of wooden boatbuilders.
At 13’ long with a 5.5’ beam and weighing only 400 pounds, the skiff will fit in most garages and is easily towed by just about anything. Just add a 15hp outboard, and she’ll cruise comfortably all day at 20mph with minimal gas, or she’d be a phenomenal candidate for an electric outboard.
