In the not-so-welcome news department for those out West, “A Dry, Warm January Leaves the West With the Worst Snowpack in Decades”, but on the brighter side we posted yet another delightful watercolor outboard from Bobby Nachos, explored what lessons in fiberglass, patience, and restraint can teach us about life by building a skiff from scratch, saw NRS debut the Orion packraft, admired a new book release from The Wooden Boat Store celebrating 20th-century women who went to sea, and added a whole pile of poling skiffs to the site.
